This comfortable, light filled apartment has been tastefully updated with a new kitchen and appliances. The location is perfect as you have a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and a quality 18 hole golf course. At night, you can hear the sound of the sea. There are two large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Both bedrooms have Queen sized beds, with an additional 2 bunk beds in the 2nd bedroom. The main bedroom, with ensuite, opens onto the balcony. The fully equipped kitchen flows into a relaxed open plan living area. The apartment includes two inviting balconies (one covered) to capture both sunrise and sunset. A light-filled atrium, with cane armchairs, and 2 lounge areas provide additional alternatives for relaxation. The apartment is spacious (170 square metres) and located on the 3rd floor. It is suitable for children age 7 years and over. The apartment has its own sauna and spa for winter relaxation. Bed linen, towels, tea towels and bath mats are supplied.

We enjoy travelling and mostly stay in short-stay accommodation. Based on our own experience, we have tried to make our apartment comfortable for guests and to include the appliances and facilities that we appreciate in the properties we visit during our travels. Hawks Nest is a tranquil place to stay. Its beautiful, sandy beach is just 260 metres from the property and runs for many kilometres. For a pleasant day out the ferry from Tea Gardens to Nelson Bay is easily accessible. There are many places nearby which can be explored by car, including the picturesque towns of Stroud, Gloucester and Nelson Bay and the gin distillery at Allworth. There are two EV charging stations opposite the building on Booner Street. The area is easy for cycling. Bicycles can be hired across the road, just in front of the Reflections holiday park. Helmets are available in the Benchmark cafe. Hawks Nest has a quality 18 hole golf course and is an excellent base from which to play other courses, including Nelson Bay, Pacific Dunes and Forster. Other visitors to the area enjoy fishing in the ocean, river or the bay, hiking, kayaking and bowls.
