Original floorboards, high ceilings, and timber panelling add a touch of historical elegance, while the new roof, guttering, and full insulation ensure year-round comfort. Our cottage is equipped with ducted gas heating and a slow combustion fireplace in the lounge, perfect for those chilly mountain evenings. Accessing the cottage At Blue Mountains Bliss Cottage, we strive to ensure that every guest arrives and settles in with ease and comfort. Here’s what you need to know about accessing our charming retreat: Parking While there is no onsite parking available, guests can take advantage of ample street parking very close to the cottage. This convenient option allows for easy access to the property at any time during your stay. You can park on Lurline Street, or Leichardt Street. In our experience Leichardt street is nearly always empty, and is an easier option. The walk from either option is very short, and flat. Property Access Please note that accessing the cottage involves navigating stairs, which may be steep and could pose challenges for those with mobility issues, young children, or if carrying heavy luggage. We want all our guests to be aware and comfortable with this aspect to ensure a pleasant arrival and stay. Blue Mountains Bliss Cottage is best suited for couples, two couples, and small families who appreciate being close to the heart of Katoomba while enjoying a quiet, private space.
