Cactus is located on the front row at Emu Bay on the northern protected coastline. Emu Bay is arguably KI's best swimming, walking and boating beach. We are approx. 65 klms (50 minutes) from Penneshaw and the Sealink ferry and just 15 or so from the airport and main town of Kingscote. A recent and extensive renovation has resulted in a very modern and bright space finished to exacting standards. Cactus has some of the best views of Emu Bay. Hidden away from the road, the living area and deck are wonderfully open plan, and perfect for seamless entertaining. The master suite is also on the front, with ensuite. Two further bedrooms accommodate up to 6 guests, with another living area, and additional shower room and laundry. The beach and jetty is just a few minutes walk.

We are Farmers from Kangaroos Island, South Australia Love to travel whenever time allows. Now empty nesters. Love the country but also interesting cities. Like to walk and also meet people. Love beach walks, the ocean, good food, wine and music. I have worked in Tourism all of my working life. Both domestic and International. Valuable skills for I currently do. I live with my family in London, UK. Our wonderful property manager Sue looks after all aspects of the property and communication.

The highlight is the beautiful safe swimming beach that is Emu Bay. Clear blue waters for swimming and 6 k's of beach to walk each day. Dolphins can be seen most days. The beach can also be driven on. You are in a very small beachside community. The boat ramp is just minutes away, as is the lovely pop up food van during the summer months. Emu Bay lavender Farm and Cafe are a 5 minute drive and is open all year round. Fishing off the jetty can also be enjoyed. It is also the pick up point for Kangaroo island marine adventures (Dolphin swimming) It is easy to get around on foot but you must have a car as there are no taxis on kangaroo island.
