A luxurious king-sized bed platform is encircled by expansive picture frame windows, providing breathtaking views of the nearby bush, farmland, and ocean below. In the living area, a spacious day bed is complemented by ample reading materials and games stored in drawers below and on shelving above. The fully equipped galley-style kitchen provides everything needed to prepare a delightful meal for two. Cooking options include a four-burner indoor gas hot plate, an outdoor Ziegler & Brown barbecue, and an outdoor Gozney Roccbox pizza oven. A full-sized fridge/freezer makes food storage simple for guests on longer stays. The bathroom includes a generously sized tiled shower, a timber vanity featuring a handmade ceramic basin, and a waterless, odourless composting toilet. The tiny home is well-insulated with underfloor, wall, and ceiling insulation, and is equipped with double-glazed windows for excellent temperature control. Heating options include a Roaring Meg mini pedestal wood fire and a biodiesel fan heater. We are a fully off-grid eco short stay, with no TV & no Wi-Fi - please take this into consideration when choosing to book with us.

We are Joel & Nick. We have created Candlebark Ridge over the last 3 years, and listed it for short term stays back in May 2024. We poured our heart and souls into crafting what we feel is a very uniquely Tasmanian stay for our guests. We love hosting, and go out of our way to make our guests feel like they are at a home away from home.

We are located just 10 minutes north of the quaint hinterland village of Saint Marys. The town is known for it's quirky vibe and old-school hospitality. There are plenty of local restaurants, pubs, chemists and grocery stores - but not a hip wine bar or coffee shop in sight, much to the locals enjoyment. Saint Mary's has a range of cultural and art establishments on offer, showcasing the towns history and vibrant community of creative folk. The cranks and tinkerers museum is a must visit when visiting the township for the day, as well as the various antiques and Op shops. Sitting at the gateway to Tasmania's East Coast, Saint Marys is the perfect starting point for your Tassie adventure.
