The three double french doors in the large kitchen space will open up to the beautiful garden and outdoor dining area where you can sit and enjoy the view of the private family farm. With one km walk to the river and the golf course next door there is plenty to do while staying at Chatsworth.

My husband (Henry) who is a 6th generation Tasmanian farmer and I (Margit)live on our property Cressy House Estate (1827) with our three boys Noah, Oscar and Edward where we run a sheep and crop farm as well as two country accommodation. Excited to share our piece of paradise with guests from around the world with interest in agriculture, local fresh produce, shopping, wine and food recommendations. I will not always be able to meet you in person when you arrive but we live on the property Cressy House just 3 km down the road so I am only a short phone call away! You might also see me or a family member doing work in the garden, moving sprinklers in the summertime, mowing the lawn or doing general gardening work or moving sheep in nearby paddocks.

The closest neighbour is Longford Golf Course (2km up the road) - so you will have full privacy during your stay unless someone is mowing the lawn, doing some gardening or my husband or workers are working in the nearby paddocks! The house has an outdoor parking area on gravel next to the house. You will have full access to the entire property and surrounding paddocks and walking distance to the river.
