STUDIO ECHUNGA Adelaide Hills is a facility at Echunga operated by the previous owners and developers of Cherry Farm Cottage. At our previous property we consistently maintained a guests view average in excess of 9.5 and we are thrilled to be back in the hosting community. Our brand new studio is located in the small historic, rural town of Echunga which is 30 minutes easy drive from Adelaide in what is known as "Battunga Country", an ancient river valley area studded with majestic white Gum Trees. The Studio is furnished with modern comfortable furniture and we take great pride in its excellent presentation. The studio is ideally suited for an adults' night(s) away or short breaks away from "it all". If we can, we are happy to cooperate on early check ins and later check outs - just ask - its usually no problem. We do not mind if you are accompanied by someone who needs to sleep in their bassinette!. You have complete freedom to explore our quaint town and the close by old Echunga mine workings as well as admire the beautiful natural environment among the thickly forested areas just close to us ideal for it for Kangaroos, and Koala Bears (even some deer if you are quiet!)

Christine is a retired senior educator who now devotes considerable time to the Art Gallery of South Australia as a volunteer. She is always happy to advise you on what to see there, you may even arrange to join one of her Tours. Additionally she helps out at those of the local private schools . She enjoys, in winter, cooking various delicious items (chutney, jams, cake, honey etc) to sell under her own label. She is the main host of Studio Echunga and the practical point of contact. She enjoys it! She knows the entire Adelaide HIlls region and Adelaide very well and is happy to share her knowledge or to take you on a tour any where in the general area, You can be sure that Christine will do all she can to make your stay enjoyable. Christine is a great traveller who thoroughly enjoys other cultures and experiences. Husband Peter is retired, but in retirement" to keep busy and fit he has to make his own beer and cheese as well as 'fixing things for the family! He enjoys, Australian rules football, his sons and daughters and his grandchildren. When time permits he enjoys travelling abroad and seeing new and wondrous things. We attempt to assist our guests wherever possible.

STUDIO ECHUNGA is located in the centre of Echunga in the beautiful Adelaide Hills in South Australia. It is ideally situated to provide superior accommodation just 30 minutes by car from the Adelaide CBD, 30 minutes by car from beautiful Victor Harbor and the Southern Fleureau Peninsula,15 minutes by car from the Southern Vales Wine region, it is centrally located for the Adelaide Hills wine region.The Barossa Valley is 1.5 hours away. We are just off of the Freeway to or from Melbourne. At Hahndorf visit the home & property of the renowned painter Sir, Hans Heysen. There is much to do here. Enjoy the friendless and unique ambience of the old German Arms Hotel just 120m away. Visit the vinyards of McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, Langhorne Creek , Barrossa Valley for a day trip. Spend a day at historic Hahndorf just 9 kilometres from us. Tour through the many and uniquely pretty towns of the Hills. At Goolwa see the mouth of the mighty River Murray, try a boat tour of the world heritage Coorong National Park. Visit Adelaide for shopping and many of Australia's best restaurants, where fresh locally produced food is the norm.
