Cornwall Cottage is set on 40 acres with amazing views across the Coal River Valley. The cottage is conjoined with our own home but has its' own private entrance to provide privacy for guests. Furnished with a mix of antiques and cottage style furniture with a Queen size iron bed in the main bedroom. It has a kitchenette with a microwave, small oven, 2 hotplates, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The lounge dining room is furnished with a recliner chair, chesterfield couch and dining table and chairs, a large flat screen TV, Netflix and DVD player. Free Wi Fi. The bathroom features a shower, bath and vanity and there is a separate toilet. A laundry is available on request and charges apply.
I have been operating Cornwall Cottage for 22 years and enjoy meeting guests from all over Australia and overseas. My partner Alec and I live on site so are always available to assist guests with local information such as where to eat in the evening or recommend some of the "must see" attractions in the area. We have a very friendly Cavoodle named Poppy who loves meeting guests plus we have several thoroughbred horses living in the front paddocks.
Cornwall Cottage is located only 15 minutes from The Hobart CBD and is ideal to take in all the attractions the South has to off such as Port Arthur, Salamanca Market, MONA Museum, Mount Wellington, Richmond historical Village is a 10 minute drive, Tahune Airwalk, The Huon Valley, New Norfolk.
