I am originally from the UK but emigrated to Australia in 1992 and fell in love with the country, people, flora, and fauna. I am proud to be an Australian citizen and call Magnetic Island home. I live and work from home, in paradise, and am always happy to show off what the Island has to offer. I have traveled extensively, lived in many parts of the world and love meeting new people. I like long walks on the beach, listening to good music, Italian food, seafood, steak and quality wine, shared with my fabulous husband or great friends.

Surrounded by national park with abundance of birds and wildlife. Bird feeding on the resort every day. Get up close with the kookaburras, Sulphur crests, and rainbow lorikeets. Lots of wallabies on site and even the occasional visit by the Island's wild koalas. One of the best Island walks (Nelly Bay to Arcadia, approx. 5k) starts just up from the resort and has the best 360 degree Island views. Bus stops at the front of the resort to take you to all bays and tourist attractions. To return to the resort simply tell the bus driver you wish to go to Amaroo on Mandalay.
