We are property investors and developers and Clarissa is a Magnetic Minds Certified Coach as she loves to help people create the life they love. We have 3 beautiful girls, which also help out in the business and around the property. We all love to travel, which is what inspired us to share our property through tourism. Welcome to Mt Rumney Escapes This is our “Seaview Wombat” House and is 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with Laundry, Kitchen and Lounge room. You are about to be amazed with the Breathtaking Views and natural bush surronds at Mt Rumney Escapes. Set on 150 acres, you will see many wildlife, enjoy the best air in the world and be stunned at the views that this property has to offer. This property features 6 tourist houses, 1 in the Haven (Horse House) location (our only Pet Friendly accommodation), which is a more cost-effective accommodation featuring 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, combined kitchen/lounge, enclosed yard and sleeps 6. The other 5 houses are in the Seaviews location with the most breathtaking views, ranging from 2 to 3 bedrooms. 1 Possum is our biggest with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and rumpus sleeping 10, Eagle is 2 bedroom disability accommodation, sleeps 4-6, Wombat is 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom and sleeps 6-8, Devil and Kangaroo are both 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and sleep 4-6. The Seaviews area is ideal for large families, groups, work colleagues and small events for guests who are coming for weddings, sports events, tournaments and so on, with a capacity to sleep from 28 up to 34 people. If your lucky, come and see the Aurora Australis from our property or close-by. You will also see the Milkyway. While staying with us, take walk and meet our our animals - horse, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, chickens & birds. You will also encounter many native animals. To access Mt Rumney you will drive up the Mt Rumney Road hill and into a short gravel road. Directions are provided. You can self-check in with flexible times. We are accessible on phone, please text if we don’t answer. We are eco-friendlly with off the grid power, water harvested on site and waste management systems. We also recycle. We are situated on 150 acres of bush with views of all the surrounding mountains, seven mile beach, midway point, sorell and Hobart airport. Come and enjoy the best fresh air in the world and be mesmerized by the views. Mt Rumney is a unique area and the Mt Rumney lookout is a popular to people to see the views, the views coming up to Mt Rumney Escapes is amazing, you will come into a short gravel road where you will access your house. Directions are provided. You will need a car, uber or taxi, there is no bus service on this road. This is one of the most central locations and an easily accessible location for exploring Hobart & its surrounding regions. Starting from the Hobart Airport, only 17 minutes, a quick drive along Cambridge Road turning left into Mt Rumney Road. In Cambridge you will see the Horse Shoe Inn, which is great for dinners. You will access Mt Rumney from Cambridge road, where it’s a short drive up the hill to your accommodation, about 8 minutes. Watch out for those Wallabies. On the other side of Cambridge Road, you will head down to our many shopping centres – Glebe Hill Village along pass road or Shoreline Shopping centre along Southarm Hill Highway or the large Eastlands Shopping Centre on Bligh Street, Rosny where there are many take-aways. All taking around 10 to 15 minutes from Mt Rumney Escapes. For more restaurants head 5 minutes more to Bellerive and the Bellerive Oval where you will see the Cricket and Football. Hobart City is only 15 minutes from Mount Rumney Escapes, where you go enjoy the waterfront, visit Salamanca market. Mount Rumney Escapes is a central location for many day trips including Bruny Island, Tahune Airwalk, the Historial Richmond, Hastings Caves, Mona Museum, Eaglehawk Neck, Port Arthur and much more…..
