Nowhere else in Australia will you find such abundant, pure, crystal clear, ancient water flowing so close to your accommodation. We offer such a unique property that even in the Daintree Rainforest no other accommodation can boast a private, safe freshwater creek steps from the front door. We are surrounded by world heritage rainforest with no other properties upstream from us and positioned resting within the 3rd hightest mountain in Queensland.
We are a married couple excited to share with our guests a property that cannot be found elsewhere on the planet. James works as an engineer and is devoted to creating a highly eco friendly property starting with a self made Hydro-electricity plant to power both houses only harnessing the green energy from the continuously flowing private creek. Alison is a nurse but has her roots in the hospitality industry and strives to create a comfortable, functional and homely place for guests to truly feel that they have arrived at their home away from home.
The Daintree Area is an untouched wilderness for you to adventure through. There are lots of activities to enjoy, from snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef to flying through the canopy on a zip line at Jungle Surfing. The local people are very friendly and wont hesitate to help with anything from suggestions on what to do, to a dry towel when you have been caught in a tropical downpour.
