It’s the perfect retreat for a couples weekend, to prepare for your wedding with your bridesmaids (or your bride /groom to be!), or for a group to get away from the bustle of the city. Our guests thank us for the peace and serenity, the stunning views and the chance to truly get away from it all. The cottage has polished wooden floorboards, a stunning view from every window, lots of cupboard space and comfortable places to relax. The large verandah wraps around 2-sides of the cottage, and there are extensive lawns and gardens to stroll in.

Sherree is an an avid gardener who has a deep connection to the earth and a passion for growing lavender. One of her hobbies is making natural, organic beauty products from her home-grown lavender bushes. At Blue Ridge Lavender Cottage, Sherree encourages her guests to unplug and enjoy the serenity and seclusion. She lives onsite nearby. But the guest cottage is secluded and private with no shared spaces. While Sherree is available if you need help, she values your privacy.

The Cottage is located in Dayboro in Queensland. We are close to numerous wedding venues and offer beautiful scenery as a backdrop for your photos. Most people come to the cottage for peace and seclusion - to relax and not wander afar. But if you want to get out and about, we're just up the road from the township of Dayboro, which offers a few nice dining options and cafes, a bakery, a well-stocked IGA and more. Plus if you’d like to do some adventuring, the cottage is surrounded by national parks with walks and picnic spots aplenty (D'Aguilar National Park has a range of walks for all skill levels) and many local attractions, including horse riding, antiquing and wineries and many places to dine…you’ll find plenty of things to do in and around Dayboro.
