Hi, I’m Shannon, and I’ve been hosting since 2021. I became an accidental host after building "Elvis on Brodie" this small designer villa in my beachside backyard — and quickly discovered how much I loved welcoming guests. I created the space to share the lifestyle I enjoy on the Coffs Coast: peaceful mornings on the bush track, coffee from a local van, and the beauty of being close to the Coffs Marina and surrounding nature. Originally designed for working professionals, the villa includes an office and all the comforts of home. Guests fell in love with both the coastal style and the relaxed, welcoming vibe. Elvis on Brodie even received the Booking dot com Traveller Award for 2025. Since then, I’ve expanded to a villa at Aanuka Beach Resort, which offers flexible accommodation: it can be booked as a two-bedroom villa for up to four guests with an adjoining studio for two, or each space can be rented separately. I fully renovated both spaces, carefully selecting high-quality bathroom products, premium linens from Adairs and Bed Bath & Table, and boutique room fragrances from Perth — ensuring a warm, inviting atmosphere from the moment guests arrive. My goal is more than providing a place to stay; I aim to create a truly memorable experience. Many guests return again and again, which I treasure. One of my greatest joys as a host is designing beautiful, thoughtful spaces that guests love spending time in - even on a rainy day.
