Eumundi is a beautiful part of the Sunshine Coast, accessible to most things. Eumundi Cottages - Cottage 2 is one of 2 self-contained Studio Style Cottages on private land setup with privacy in mind. IMPORTANT: We a pride on being an " entirely a no-smoking" property inside and out. Once settled in you can do as little or as much as you like. Noosa is about 20-25 mins. The Eumundi Market is down the road and the town of Cooroy up the road. Market days in Eumundi are Wed & Sat apprx. 7am till early afternoon & is a lovely town to visit on other days, as well there are other markets in other towns to visit. Travel the hinterland & see the many towns and areas to visit. Visit beach areas such as Noosa, Sunrise, Sunshine, Coolum & Peregian to name a few. There are many great festivals throughout the year spread across the region so keep a lookout for these. The local airport is close & even if you don't get a direct flight to it look out for great flight deals from Brisbane and drive-up.
We appreciate staying at places that allow us to visit at our own pace so having settled here we have been fortunate enough to set up two cottages & equip them so as to offer self-contained privacy and comfort to our guests with the freedom to do their own thing when they want. Guests are asked to please maintain the cottages while they stay here and we have set them up to make that easy for you. We are situated in area that allows guest to visit to more populated tourist areas and but allows them to them come back to their own space at their cottage for rest and relaxation.
Situated in a rural/residential region we are surround by large properties and open spaces. We are half way between Eumundi & Cooroy surrounded by lots of trees & greenery. With a Sub-tropical climate the weather is pretty good all year round. Both these town are a very short drive to get to. We are easy access off the motorway as are both towns so getting to the cottages is easy. Cooroy is a town that can supply most of your needs for supplies and shopping. Eumundi offers the famous Eumundi Markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays from early mornings till after lunch and is a picturesque country town to visit on other days. Kookaburras are often heard singing and there is a variety of bird life. Cooroy has quite a few options for eating and restaurants and if something more special is required there is Noosa which has so many options to choose from and is and easy enough drive. About 15 minutes away in Yandina is Spirit House that has an Australia wide reputation for contemporary Thai dining that as well as the great food it offers is set among beautiful tropical gardens and has regular classes throughout the year.
