I am a Grazier, Civil Celebrant for weddings and funerals. Experienced local government as an elected member for five years. Have also served on many community committees during my time of councillor. As I enjoy being with people I have been looking forward to putting my B & B into fruition. Love all animals - have a small herd of Scottish Highland Cattle which my other half and I began breeding in 2003 and won many trophies for them in South Australia. In particular these animals are dear to me as I recall the nostalgia as a child in Scotland being intrigued with their shaggy coats and horns. Music of all types is another love - was born into a musical family and grew with this over time. Love the written word in the form of novels and poetry. Enjoying being with my 9 year old grandson, observing his growth at school and sports. So different to parenting with own children.

The rural town of Keith is friendly with down to earth people and only two hours from Adelaide. We have a skate park for children. A unique "Train" with no engine on wheels in the Park at the Northern end of Hender Street - this is a bit special. Our underground aquifer is an asset for our seed growing and is depicted on Heritage Street opposite Henry & Rose Restaurant with a circulated pump expelling water through it. The Purple Paddock gift and craft and art shop is worth a visit also special country fare is always available. Keith hotel is renowned for food. In summation this town is a great place to live - also safe for young people and only two hours away from the city and all facilities. We have a hospital, good medical professionals and a brand new dental building in the main street. Keith is renowned for competitive sports, has a new Sporting Complex Building. The Golf Course is very well worth booking into and the Golf Committee is busy with dinners for our various Clubs. Lovely views from the Clubhouse.
