Gellibrand River Gallery Accommodation adjoins the Gellibrand River Gallery. Guests have full, independent access to a two bedroom house with open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and living, a sunroom, one bathroom and laundry facilities. Guests also have full, independent access to a garden with sheltered seating and BBQ facilities. Free parking is available on-site and consists of private driveway access and single carport. The Gellibrand River Gallery is open from 10am to 4pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday, most Public Holidays and by Appointment. I am available, if needed, in the Gallery during these times. I can also be available by phone or email/messaging outside of these hours, if needed.
Deb is a traditional and contemporary photographer who owns/manages the Gellibrand River Gallery. Supporting local artists, the Gallery has a large range of items for sale. Artworks vary from photography, jewellery and cards to glassware, textiles and woodwork. The Gallery’s dynamic Exhibition Space changes regularly & provides local artists with solo & group opportunities to display their work. While in the Otways, be sure to visit the Gellibrand River Gallery & take home your own unique piece of locally handcrafted artwork. Please note that the Gallery closes for July each year.
Just two hours from Melbourne and only 20 minutes from Colac (located on the Princes Highway), the Gellibrand River Gallery (Gift Shop & Accommodation) is nestled in the heart of the Otways, in the charming village atmosphere of Gellibrand River. Gellibrand River is a 20 minute drive from Colac (heading towards the coast). There is no public transport available to Gellibrand River, and as such you will need your own (or a hire) car. Mobile phone reception in Gellibrand River is limited at the moment. You may have data (eg, text messages) depending upon the type of mobile phone you have. There is no landline telephone in the Gallery Accommodation, however there is a working Telstra public phone across the road from the General Store & Cafe.
