Sitting back in the afternoon with a cheese platter and a glass of the Hunter’s finest is complimented by the gorgeous views from your hill top retreat as the sunsets over the manicured 14 acre property. Dinner is a breeze with outdoor BBQs and full kitchens in both the homestead and cottage. If you don’t want to cook, Restaurant Botanica easy stroll across the paddock or several other restaurants and wineries are within walking distance for your convenience Heading off to bed is a pleasure as you experience the fine cotton sheets and soft fluffy pillows. We are blessed to live on one of the most amazing streets with some awesome neighbours. If you like wine tasting Peter Drayton Wines, Pigs Peak Wines, Mistletoe Wines and Tintilla Wines are only a hop skip and a jump from Hermitage Hideaway. If beer is more your thing, IronBark Hill at Peter Drayton Wines is a great micro brewery which also serves great food. I little further down the road you can taste cheese, more wine and beer. There are also several great places to stop for lunch or dinner. If you're looking for something a little more active why not try hot air ballooning, take a helicopter or classic aircraft flight or hire a bike for the afternoon. Other attractions include the Hunter Valley Garden (and it's village,) Aqua Golf, Putt Putt Golf or visit the Hunter Valley Zoo and for the avid Golfer, the Hunter Valley offers some of the best golf courses around.
