Tamborine Mountain is a stunning location in the middle of the peaceful and picturesque Hinterland. Only an hour from Brisbane and half an hour from the Gold Coast, you’ll be spoiled for choice on activities. Take in the sights and the natural foliage - it doesn’t get more real than this. While you’re staying here, make sure you check out the Mount Tamborine Markets; these eclectic markets have a variety of vendors coming every other weekend. Whether you’re after homemade souvenirs or fresh fruit and vegetables, you won’t be disappointed. After you’ve perused the local wares, make sure you head to Tamborine Mountain Gallery Walk, with an abundance of shops across the heart of the Mountain offer everything from locally-made gifts, clothing, weekend markets, fabulous antiques and even the quirky, there is no shortage of opportunities for the passionate shopper. When you’ve shopped enough to build up your appetite, you’ve not got any lack of options for food.
