Please let us know if you are bringing pets. There is nominal fee for pets to help cover the extra cleaning required. We pride ourselves on providing a relaxed home away from home. Our 1930’s cottage is welcoming and quaint and the perfect place for you to kick back. The cottage is fully airconditioned. Sleep like a baby in our top of the range beds and enjoy the simple pleasures with your morning cuppa on the front verandah as you listen to the sounds of nature & plan the day ahead. Spend some time exploring our Capricorn Coast or while away the hours with a good book under one of our mature tropical trees which include Kauri Pines and Flame Trees. Stroll into town for dinner and drinks or get cosy at night as you relax around our firepit enjoying the stars, firewood and marshmallows supplied. Rosslyn Bay harbour is only 15 minutes away where you can board the ferry for the glorious Keppel Islands. The main bedroom has a luxurious king bed, steam cleaned linen and plenty of storage. The second bedroom has luxurious twin long single beds (can be made into a King), steam-cleaned linen & an open cupboard. The open plan living area consists of a lounge room with a smart TV, dining area and kitchen. The Kitchen features a microwave and a dishwasher. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer.

We live nearby so are available to assist with any issues you may have and are happy to help you get the most out of your stay. Hughes Hideaway is a peaceful retreat and is not suitable for parties or large groups. We would love to answer any questions that you have and help in any way that we can, we want to make your stay exceptional!

Hidden away on a lush 1-acre property located near the heart of Yeppoon, Hughes Hideaway is a beautiful tropical retreat where you can truly escape but still only a stones throw to Yeppoon’s main attractions. Drive across our little bridge under the canopy of trees and you have arrived. We are just 5 minutes to the Yeppoon Lagoon, Main Beach and an array of local speciality stores, cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets. Hughes Hideaway is an easy 13 Minute walk from the main street of Yeppoon or 20 Minutes to the Beachfront. Alternatively, we are a 4 Minute drive from the Beachfront and Yeppoon Lagoon. We have ample onsite parking with room for a camper trailer and most trailer boats. (note: access is restricted for large trailers or heights over 3.5m)
