Such a fantastic location. Sipping a morning coffee on the veranda spotting western rosellas swooping through the trees and red-winged fairy wrens flitting around the bushes. Close to the Heartbreak trail and a refreshing swim in the Warren river.

The location is delightful and remote. It's close enough to bush based activities to make it thoroughly enjoyable. The facilities have now become my benchmark for excellence and the information provided was as clear and well presented as I've seen.

Beautiful setting, house very well set up and some little touches of luxury that made it feel very homely. Loved the kids books, 4 slice toaster and coffee machine and very nice linen. Took small kids including a baby and elder with mobility...

Karriwood cottage is a basic, yet delightfully comfortable and fully functional house set on 2 acres of spectacular bush. Sit on the verandah, enjoy a coffee form locally roasted beans and put on a loaf of bread. If the forest is your thing, this is your place. Karriwood is only 15 minutes from Pemberton too. There is a wood heater and a full house verandah. It's all yours (and the wrens)! YOUNG FAMILIES!!! Please note the property does not have fencing. There is also an unfenced farm dam. Toddlers and young children would need to be fully supervised. It is a rural house reliant on rainwater so you may have to turn on a pressure pump and pay special attention to not leaving taps on!
I am the owner of Karriwood cottage. This our holiday house. We do not live in the region. So expect a hands off experience with support from our cleaner and caretaker if you need it.
Yeagarup is a delight! It includes vast stands of Western Australia's prime forests. The house is walking distance Warren National Park. the Warren River is a 5 minute drive. Other sites include Yeagarup Lake and dunes, Beedelup Falls and Big Brook dam. You could spend a week in the region easily. It is also a central starting point for day trips anywhere in the South West. There is a lot of intensive agriculture including cattle, avocado, fruit orchards and wineries.
