Enjoy time with family and friends at this tranquil lower Hunter Valley Retreat, overlooking a small billabong and grassy paddocks. Put your feet up and take in the view, BBQ on the large sunny deck or wind down and relax fireside with a glass of wine. Well behaved dogs are most welcome with secure fencing around the perimeter of the home. A pleasant 10 minute scenic drive to The Great Northern Trading Post at Laguna for coffee, fresh bread, wines and Providore and a further 10 minutes to historic Wollombi village and its friendly rustic Pub, small convenience store, scattering of shops and pretty Wollombi Brook walk.

We are a family with 4 teenagers and 2 well mannered dogs who adore escaping to the countryside and enjoying the peace and quiet after bustling Sydney. We are so happy to welcome you to enjoy this lovely tranquil spot. Always available throughout your stay via mobile phone, but otherwise you are left to enjoy the home in complete privacy.

A pleasant 90 minutes drive from Sydney along the historic Tourist Drive 33. Beautiful Australian countryside in a very peaceful setting. Kangaroos, wombats, native birds and farm animals aplenty along the beautiful well maintained gravel country road that the house is located on. Perfect for a quiet walk or bring your bikes to enjoy. A short scenic 10 minute drive to the tiny hamlet Laguna, with The Great Northern Trading Post, an iconic gateway to the Hunter Valley Since 1879 – a delightful cafe, and rustic wine bar with interesting and delicious food, allows dogs and has a pot bellied stove operating in winter to keep the chill away. A further 10 minutes on from Laguna is the small historic village of Wollombi with it's rustic pub, coffee shops and the pretty Wollombi Brook Nature Trail. There are a couple of boutique local wineries to enjoy including Undercliff Winery, Wollombi Wines and Wollombi Village Vineyard.
