Our 2 Casitas are newly built one bedroom luxe retreat cabins offering the perfect mix of high end luxury with country charm and only 2 cabins onsite. Indulge and unwind among nature in our exclusive, private, and captivating retreat, nestled high on an undulating hill on the fringes of our beautiful state Forest. As you enter the raked ceiling living area basking in full natural light you will find a fully equipped kitchen complete with microwave, cooktop, full sized fridge & freezer, dishwasher, kettle, and Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary pods. A cozy lounge and dining area is beautifully appointed within this space so you can sit and gaze at the beautiful surrounds, or close the plantation shutters and feel a million miles away. As you enter your separate bedroom through a stunning barn door, you will find a luxurious queen size bed with hotel quality linens, a stunning modern and vibrant en-suite bathroom with a spacious rain shower, vanity, plush bath robes, high end soaps and hair-wash products all ready for your arrival. Your cabin is very private boasting incredible views into the forest, dam and rolling hills. From the front balcony you can bask in the sun in your arm chair listening to the sounds of true tranquility whilst either submersing yourself into a good book, or indulging in a glass of bubbly! Along with a high-end modern kitchen indoors, a Weber BBQ is also available for your convenience on your decked area along with all required cooking utensils and basic pantry items to ensure you don't have to leave this beautiful paradise once you have arrived. Upon arrival, as a little ‘gracias’ from us, we enjoy thanking our guests with a complimentary bottle of local wine, some free-roam eggs from our beloved chooks, freshly-made bread & preserves, butter and milk, so that your first breakfast is a breeze.

Las Casitas has been a life long dream for our host Frida. Her love of looking after people melded with her talents in all things design, decor, and homely comfort brought this project to life in late 2021. From a blank canvas on the sprawling family property, Frida has worked tirelessly to bring her vision to life and can’t wait to share it with you! Picture yourself nestled in a cosy cabin perched high on the undulating hills of Brookhampton. Located on the verge of the state forest, your closest neighbours are the birds, kangaroos and other spectacular Australian wildlife. The view, of the river fed dam below and greenery of the surrounds is breathtaking. Whether you are escaping the hustle & bustle of the city, on a romantic weekend away, or reconnecting with a friend or family member, Las Casitas is the perfect escape for any occasion!

With the state forest on your left and the family home in the distance on your right, you will enjoy an uninterrupted escape among the wilderness whilst you spend your time with us. Whether you choose to relax indoors under the cool air of the air conditioning or snuggle up on an armchair and get toasty outdoors in the sunshine, this getaway offers such variety of options, that anyone can find something to do (or not do) while they join us here in our little part of paradise! The dams are freshwater spring fed dams so you can swim and bathe in them to replenish your soul, or choose to sit above the water on one of the kayaks available free for guest use. With the forest bordering our property you can easily get your walking shoes on and explore the natural surroundings on an uninterrupted stroll or hike. For those who like things a little slower paced, inside your cabin you will find a picnic rug and basket. If you choose to venture out and about, there is plenty to do nearby. Award winning wineries, local orchards, river trails, and historic sites are all just a few of the options a stone's throw away. The infamous Gnomesville, and towns such as Boyanup, Kirup, Balingup, Lowden and many other little gems are all easily accessible by car for a fun day out on a leisurely scenic drive. To stock up on any delectable delights you might fancy for your stay will find Donnybrook town centre a short 10 minute drive down the hill. More information on 'what to do' will be included in your welcome booklet within your cabin. Guests are welcome to roam the property and surrounding forest areas as they please, but we do ask that guests avoid from entering any sheds, the homestead, or working areas on the farm for their own safety. This stay is an adult’s only retreat, so we hope you enjoy the peace and quiet.
