Linley House is a boutique accommodation and the house is filled with lovely art and memorabilia. The garden is lush with beautiful foliage and the front of the house is covered in red bouganvillia.
Chris and Helen are retired and have enjoyed extending hospitality to the guests at Linley House for more than 10 years. We enjoy meeting so many interesting people from all over the world and assisting with information on the local sights and transport. We enjoy the outdoors, playing the occasional game of golf and tennis.
The house is opposite the Lane Cove River and has lovely walks nearby. There is a bus at the door to take you to Lane Cove and the city. It is a short walk to Hunters Hill where you can catch a bus to the city and there are lots of restaurants and the Hunters Hill Hotel has a nice bistro. You can take the ferry from Woolwich to Circular Quay passing under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. The Rocks area nearby is one of the original parts of Sydney and the Botanic Gardens is nearby. A beautiful way to travel to the city and see Sydney Harbour. The Vivid exhibition is on in Sydney during May/June which is easily accessed by bus.
