Kangaroo Island's newest, eco-friendly, luxury holiday home, overlooks the vast blue waters of Backstairs Passage to mainland Australia. Little Cuttlefish is located on the Dudley Peninsula, only a 15-minute drive from the Penneshaw Ferry Terminal.
This extraordinary, self-contained rammed earth residence is neighbours with award-winning Dudley Wines. The ground floor level consists of kitchen, dining, laundry and living area with fireplace. There are two spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, the master bedroom on the top floor has a beautiful balcony to enjoy the changing views. The second guest bedroom is located downstairs with direct outside terrace access.
And did we mention the 18m swimming pool with alfresco dining, sun lounge and BBQ!
Whether you are seeking a romantic getaway, family break or a girl’s weekend, we will make your Kangaroo Island stay relaxing, comfortable and unforgettable.
We are very excited to be hosting 3 homes on Kangaroo Island in Penneshaw and on the Dudley Peninsula! Geoff's family has roots on the island and we have enjoyed spending time each year on KI.
We love heading across to KI for a lazy weekend of pure relaxation, and often find ourselves tempted to explore the stunning walks and beautiful beaches. Our children love KI - backyard cricket, local beach for a dip, nearby shops to pick up a treat to bring home whilst binging Netflix or playing board games!
When we entertain guests we always take our car so we can share with them Seal Bay/Admirals Arch, Remarkable Rocks, Flinders Chase National Park... the vistas on the island drives and hidden beaches are spectacular. KI Spirits, KI Brewery or local wineries are always a hit!
While we do not live on KI, we have a local Property Manager who resides in Penneshaw and will be available to assist during your stay if needed.

Little Cuttlefish is located on the Dudley Peninsula, only a 15-minute drive from the Penneshaw township, beach and ferry terminal. This extraordinary, self-contained rammed earth residence is neighbours with award-winning Dudley Wines, only a 7-minute drive to Antechamber Bay beach, 15-minute drive to Cape Willoughby Lighthouse and 20-minute drive to False Cape Cellar Door.
