Lynden is a historic cottage conveniently located in the centre of Trentham- a 3 minute walk from the town centre, and easy walking distance of the beautiful Wombat State Forest. We are pet friendly. The yard is fully fenced and secure. You are welcome to bring your dog inside, but we do ask that you do not bring them into the bedrooms, or allow them on the furniture. We also ask that you clean up after your pet (i.e. hair, droppings). There is an uninhabited bungalow at the rear of the property. You will have the whole property to yourself. We charge a base rate for 2 people, and have extra costs for additional guests. We need to know in advance how many guests will be staying to make sure the house is prepared properly ahead of your visit. Note that we have several outside security cameras that monitor the driveway, garage and miner's cottage. You will also note that we received a review with a score of 1. The guest who left this review actually had a really good time and enjoyed his stay, and left a lovely review in our guest book. He had made a booking for one guest, and without notice, 3 guests stayed at the property. Once we explained our fee structure, and requested additional fees for the 3rd guest, he refused to pay, and instead left this review. We were left upset by this as we strive to provide the best service we can at reasonable rates.
We do not live onsite, and check in is via a keysafe near the back door. We are available via phone at any time.
The property is located in a lovely part of Trentham, and is very close (300 m) to the centre of town.
