Maleny Country Estate was purchased by proud owners, Michael, and Victoria, in 2018. Inspired by the idyllic location, incredible rockwork, and natural timber features throughout the estate, they saw incredible potential and felt a deep responsibility to bring the beautiful property back to life. Michael and Victoria set out to give the estate a new life. Each cottage and chalet has been lovingly restored, incorporating recycled and reclaimed materials throughout to maintain the natural charm and history of the estate. Joined in 2020 by Michael’s daughter Amanda, the trio has worked tirelessly to bring quality, luxury, and a personal touch to every cottage and chalet, from fittings to decadent beds, linens, and furnishings. With accommodation on-site for up to 70 guests across multiple styles of accommodations from Chalets and Cottage to our Luxury Estate House, there is an option for everyone. Our secluded, fully self-contained residences are scattered across the expansive estate. Built 50-100m apart among towering trees and manicured gardens, they offer true privacy and the ability to really relax and reconnect in nature. On a crisp morning, marvel at the blankets of fog rolling over the hills in the valley while taking in the panoramic views of the Blackall Range. In the afternoons take a front row seat by the fire and watch the sun slowly fade into night as diamond studded skies fill your view. Sprawling over 185 acres of property the grounds at Maleny Country Estate are home to a large number of native wildlife including, wallaby, echidna, koalas, deer and a large array of colourful birdlife.
