Hi prospective guests. I live on the property in an ajoining semi-detached house with two small dogs, Mitzi and Scruff, having moved down from NSW six years ago having fallen in love with Gardners Bay, Cygnet and the Channel! My son, Matt, also lives on the property, in the Studio. We hope your stay here will be just what you want it to be - I can guarantee the hospitality, but unfortunately not the weather! Moon River is just a 5-minute drive away from the charming local village of Cygnet, which is well known for arts, music and boating. You’ll find everything you need here including a supermarket, bank, post office, newsagent, petrol station, pub, churches, organic food outlets, bakery and chemist as well as cafes and art galleries. There’s also a great community growers’ market in the village held on the first and third Sundays of the month.
