Oak Lane Guest House is a custom built bungalow style guest house which is light, bright, cosy, comfortable and stylish. You will be welcomed by brand new furniture, bedding, fixtures and fittings to make your stay ultra enjoyable. Nestled on 50 acres of farmland graced with the Ovens River running through the property. Beautiful, quiet, tranquil yet close to all the Milawa Gourmet Region and the Ovens & King Valleys have to offer! This self-contained guest house features a fully functional kitchen, equipped with an oven & stovetop and fitted out with appliances including fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee machine, kettle & toaster. Dinnerware, cookware and a welcome supply of tea and coffee are available for your use while you stay. The lounge area boasts modern decor with new furnishings and comfortable cosy seating as well as a reverse cycle air conditioner and heater. All linen, soft cotton towels and toiletries are supplied. A full laundry with washing machine is also supplied for guest convenience.

The yard surrounding the guest house is laden with trees, vegetable gardens and a fruit orchard. You are welcome to enjoy this space as we do! Enjoy spending your winter evenings by the fire pit provided. What more could you want but to relax by the open fire at the end of a day exploring our beautiful area.

The township of Whorouly has a lovely country pub with great meals on Wednesday to Sunday. There is also the Whorouly Cafe with lovely coffee and breakfast & lunch options. Seasonally, there are also many farm gate sales where you can purchase the best fresh produce in the area such as cherries, blueberries, kiwifruit, walnuts, corn and tomatoes to name a few. We truly are located in one of the most beautiful places in North East Victoria. With lovely Myrtleford & the Milawa Gourmet Region only a 10 minute drive, Beechworth a 20 minute drive and Bright & Wangaratta only a 30 minute drive away, you are centrally located without being overcrowded and able to enjoy peace and serenity! The snow is also not too far away for those who want to avoid crowded accommodation!
