Just a friendly heads-up: Our house boasts a stunning elevated position (hello, the views!) with STEPS leading UP the hill towards it. Now, most folks, including ourselves, don't break a sweat with these steps – we see it as a bit of a light workout, which we all could use! (glass half full, not empty) However, it's worth considering if anyone in your group might struggle with stairs – whether it's due to mobility issues, being elderly or unwell, wrangling with lively little ones, lugging around heavy luggage, or simply not feeling up to the climb. We totally get it! So, if any of the above sounds like it might apply to your group, we kindly ask that you refrain from booking with us. We take great pride in our beautiful cosy home, complete with top-notch mattresses, quality quilts and linens. We go the extra mile to make sure every guest feels right at home, offering this level of comfort at an incredibly affordable price. It genuinely bums us out when we receive 3-star reviews because guests missed our "things to know" section or arrived late at night and found the darkness a bit daunting. We totally understand that life happens, and sometimes late arrivals are unavoidable – that's why we're more than happy to accommodate them! But if you can, please try to arrive before dark. We wouldn't want anyone feeling uneasy navigating the stairs in the dark. We hope this clears things up, so there's no room for misunderstanding or misjudgment in the future.
