The ‘Storekeepers Cottage’ Guesthouse is a cottage built with convict labour for Australia Agricultural Company workers in Circa 1830. Storekeepers Cottage is a place of cultural significance which we believe will enrich guests lives and provide a deep and inspirational sense of connection to community and landscape, to the past and to lived experiences. The cottage has been restored and renovated over a 5-year period with significant attention to detail. The cottage is wonderfully old and preserved with lots of history and original features. The restoration created some unique challenges. Escape to Historic Stroud, NSW and experience the allure of Australia’s past whilst enjoying modern amenities. Storekeepers Cottage offers an opportunity to stay in one of only a very few Australian homes with nearly 200 years of intriguing Australian History.
