Hi, I’m Victoria, a Sydney local & lifelong beach lover. Hosting here in Tamarama is more than sharing a space; it’s sharing a lifestyle. I grew up with the ocean as my backdrop & my favourite mornings still begin with a walk along the coastal path, a swim at Bronte’s ocean pool & coffee from Tin Pin Bakery on Bondi Road. Saturdays you’ll almost always find me wandering through the Bondi Farmers Market, picking up organic produce alongside families & locals who treat it as a weekly ritual.
When I’m not by the beach, I escape into nature. The Blue Mountains are a favourite for weekend hikes & closer to home I love afternoon walks or bike rides through Centennial Park, or a lazy Sunday picnic under the old fig trees. These simple rituals make up the rhythm of life here & I love being able to share them with guests who want to experience Sydney like a local.
I’ve been lucky enough to live in New York, London, Tokyo & Caribbean, travel has shaped how I see the world. Experiencing incredible hospitality in so many corners of the globe has given me a deep appreciation for what it feels like to arrive somewhere & immediately feel at home. Hosting is my way of returning that feeling. Whether it’s thoughtful touches in the apartment, tips for the best swim spots, or recommendations for where to eat and drink, I want every guest to experience the Sydney I know & love. For friends visiting Sydney, one experience I always recommend is time on the harbour. While private charters can be glamorous, the ferry service is just as magical. The hydro cat to Manly glides past the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, a breathtaking way to see the city from the water. Even if you’re here just a few days, it’s a must. What excites me most about hosting is meeting travellers from around the world, sharing local insights & helping people connect with this incredible coastline. Sydney has given me so much joy & I hope that staying here gives you the same of wonder.
Set high above Tamarama Beach, mornings here begin with birdsong blending with the rhythm of the waves. Through the private rear gate a few steps lead you directly into the park & in just 3-4 minutes you are down the steps to the sand. The iconic Bondi to Coogee coastal walk stretches in both directions. Wander north & you reach Bondi in few minutes, alive with surf, cafés, & street energy. Stroll south & Bronte appears within minutes, a family favourite with its ocean pool, picnic lawns & relaxed village vibe. Continue further past Clovelly, Gordon’s Bay, a local treasure for snorkelling & finally Coogee, a journey of about 45 minutes showcasing Sydney’s most dramatic ocean views. Along the way, ocean pools at Bondi, Bronte & Coogee invite refreshing swims, while the clifftop path offers one of the world’s most scenic running & walking routes. This neighbourhood balances lively coastal life with hidden quiet spots. Around every beach you’ll find villages brimming with bakeries, cafés, boutique shops & beachside bars. At sunrise you can watch surfers carve the break, in the afternoon enjoy a swim or yoga in the park & by evening settle into dinner as sea air lingers on your skin. Dining is part of the experience. Icebergs Dining Room & Bar is Bondi’s icon, where dramatic ocean views frame long lunches & champagne sunsets. Totti’s is beloved for its wood-fired bread, handmade pastas & leafy courtyard buzz. Sean’s, a Bondi institution, serves seasonal, produce-driven dishes in an intimate setting that captures the heart of the local dining scene. Whether it’s fine dining or fish and chips by the water. The nearest shops, bars & restaurants are just 3 mins away, buses too connecting directly to Bondi Junction’s shopping & trains, the CBD, Circular Quay & vibrant nightlife districts including Surry Hills, Darlinghurst & Potts Point. Guests love this neighbourhood for its rare mix of natural beauty, cultural energy, & access to the best of Sydney’s beach lifestyle
