Situated on Crackenback Ridge the property is ideally located right next to the golf course with easy access to the Supertrail ski run; Kosciousko Express Chairlift and Merritts Gondola; downhill bike trails and beautiful walking trails. While the chalet does not have sweeping mountain views, it is surrounded by natural bushland and Cascades Creek. Guests regularly spot deer and other wildlife right outside the kitchen and living areas – a highlight for families and anyone wanting a peaceful stay close to nature with easy access to the action of Thredbo. Drying cupboard is under the stairs. The middle level has a modern, well-stocked kitchen with pantry space for your own consumables and a 6 person dining table. Amenities include a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and we leave a few coffee pods out. This floor has the master bedroom with a king bed and large built in wardrobe. There is a small balcony off this room. Top floor is a comfortable living space with large leather sofas, board games, luxurious decor, large tv and another small balcony. Second bedroom is on this floor containing a queen bed and full sized single bed on a floor trundle. Please note the chalet is spread over three levels with internal stairs, which is typical of alpine townhouses in Thredbo.

We are a professional couple with 2 teenage children. We love the outdoors and most of our weekends are spent out and about - walking, swimming, biking, water skiing and snow skiing. We have travelled extensively overseas and spent 2 years living in Toronto, Canada. We feel so blessed to live in such a fabulous country. Crackenback Ridge is only a short walk to Central Village and close to the ski trails, bike trails, golf course and walking tracks of Thredbo. The Alpine Way goes from Jindabyne, past Lake Crackenback, through to Thredbo and beyond. A beautiful scenic drive, the Alpine Way also has some great tourism locations such as Wild Brumby Schnapps Distillery, great fishing and bike riding, Penderlea Horse riding and many other attractions. It is easy to get around Thredbo during summer - with walking or bike riding or exploring surrounding areas, it is a scenic 30-minute drive along the Alpine Way to Jindabyne. Thredbo Village hosts supermarket, chemist, newsagency, restaurants, bars and shops (opening hours will vary during different seasons). Jindabyne (the nearest town) is a 30-minute drive from Thredbo and has Woolworths Supermarket, chemist, doctors, restaurants and shops.
