"Sunset Cottage" is a beautifully restored and inspirational space offering unique accommodation for the person looking for something different. In its previous life, the self-contained cottage has been a store shed, a farm shed, an office and a tack room. It offers a calm, relaxing place to stay with a high architectural design and decor. All this is done whilst enjoying some of the Valley's best views and gorgeous sunsets over the Yarra River. The cottage also has a deck area, perfect for relaxing and watching hot air balloons, local bird life and gorgeous sunsets. Being a working farm, you may sometimes see/hear a tractor, farm vehicle, etc; the cottage is naturally a part of the farm atmosphere. Guest Charges: Guests have access to the complete Sunset Cottage as a self-contained cottage. The Cottage provides either a 1 Bedroom option or a 2 Bedroom Option. We provide an economical option for two people at a twin share rate using only 1 Bedroom, rather than charging the max capacity of 4 persons when only 1 Bedroom is used. You still have the cottage to yourself. If you are two people and wish to use both bedrooms, please amend the booking to 3 people to secure the use of the second bedroom. This will charge you an additional fee to reflect the extra room use, washing and cleaning, etc. Accordingly, a two-guest booking is assumed to be a twin share booking, i.e., one-bedroom. "Yarra Downs" is a 200 acre commercial, cattle breeding farm located on rich river flats along the Yarra River, our cattle graze on natural pastures. We also have a small building company undertaking a handful of projects per annum. We actively work with a number of local authorities with a desire to restore and re-vegetate our property for habitat value and shelter. We have planted over 16,000 native species of trees and shrubs in the last 7 years, with the help of many wonderful volunteers. We love our location on the border of Coldstream & Healesville and our proximity to the Yarra River, with nearby great restaurants, cafes, wineries, walking and riding tracks. We also enjoy the big sky here and its gorgeous sunsets and multiple colours that occur over the beautiful mountain views regards Pat & Neil

Our neighbourhood includes quiet places by rivers, creeks and bushland but also we enjoy the busy Healesville Hub with its wonderful restaurants, cafes, wine rooms and Pubs . You're spoilt for choice with so many beautiful environments in the surrounding area.
