The Dragonfly Team
The Dragonfly Inn is set in a heritage listed Victorian mansion built in 1883. Our style of accommodation sits somewhere between a B&B and a formal hotel. We consider ourselves a cosy, self-service guest house. Our rooms are filled with character and personality, with those little extra touches that add a homely feel and great value to keep our guests happy and with the aim that you will feel relaxed and at home for your stay with us. We have set the place up to run itself in terms of providing plenty of information and tools for our guests to be able to self-check-in / out and navigate around the property to find everything you need for your stay. Having said that, we are only a message away should you need anything at all during your stay.
We are Tom and Bec, we own and run both The Dragonfly Inn and Alice's Cottages - two unique, heritage-listed properties located in Launceston, each tucked away and enveloped in gardens and lawns allowing you to truly experience the charm and history iconic of Tasmania. We are all about providing a very warm and welcoming feel without being in our guests’ face like old-school bed & breakfast stays. We have an amazing team of managers and housekeepers who look after the daily running of the properties to ensure you have an enjoyable and memorable stay.
We are 5 mins from the Launceston CBD and also 5 mins from the famous Cateract Gorge. We are in a nice and quiet part of Launceston that is very private, but still super close to everything.
