The Polish Place was established in 1983 by original owners Phil & Ania Sowter.

The Polish Place was first established in 1983 and offers 4.5 star award-winning, self-contained chalets on Tamborine Mountain, with 180 degree views to the west. Set the woodlog fire, relax in your double spa and enjoy a drink or two while watching the sun set over the mountains. (Please note: the fireplace is available for use from May to September only. Firewood will be provided during that time!) Each chalet has a dining area, kitchen, laundry facilities, private balcony, and a loft-style bedroom upstairs complete with ensuite bathroom with a double sized rainfall shower. A double spa is in the lounge room, facing towards the wood-log fireplace, flat screen smart TV and stunning views. Your privacy is paramount, but expect our friendly lorikeets and wildlife to visit you regularly!

Tamborine Mountain is one hour from Brisbane, and 30 mins from the Gold Coast, and home to some of Queensland's oldest National Parks, lots of wineries & eateries, adventure activities and arts & crafts. For the adventure enthusiasts, experience the Tamborine Mountain Skywalk, or take the hang gliding challenge only 200m from our place! Explore the mountain's own brewery and cheese factory, award-winning distillery and many wineries or stroll around the famous TM Country Markets (every 2nd Sunday of the month), which is only a short stroll from The Polish Place. There are lots of walking tracks, waterfalls and rainforests, as well as "Gallery Walk", famous for its abundance of arts & crafts. Day tours are available to many wineries which provide for a great day out - and then relax and unwind watching the stunning sunset to the west over the Great Dividing Range, all from your own private balcony!
