Welcome to Tindoona Cottages. Our three self-contained cottages provide a private escape, nestled amongst lush bush, vibrant gardens, and a tranquil dam. The property attracts a rich variety of birdlife, and our peaceful surroundings include cattle and blueberry farms, with occasional visits from wombats, koalas, echidnas, and deers. Picture yourself spotting a koala from your private deck, or simply relaxing and listening to the soothing sounds of birdsong. Enjoy a BBQ, savor a beer or glass of wine – all without a worry in the world!
Mitch and Bull became the proud owners of Tindoona Cottages in June 2021. Former city dwellers, they relocated to the countryside seeking a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle, and they haven't looked back since. They are passionate about making Tindoona Cottages an idyllic "home away from home" for their guests and love exploring the area with their newborns and chihuahua, Louie.
Tindoona Cottages offers the perfect base for your adventures, centrally located to Foster and South Gippsland attractions. We're situated just 4km south of Foster, the closest service town to Wilsons Promontory National Park, providing easy access to the Prom, the Great Southern Rail Trail, and nearby beaches, wineries, and markets. Foster is conveniently located a 2-hour drive from Melbourne, placing all of Prom Country's attractions within easy reach. The entrance to Wilsons Prom is just a 25-minute drive away, offering a full day of wilderness exploration and breathtaking coastal scenery. During your stay, you can also indulge in the local foodie trail, sampling regional wines, olives, and cheeses, and visiting art galleries, or embark on a Wildlife Coast Cruise to encounter local marine life.
