Valley View Bed and Breakfast is a little bit of country in the middle of the city. Our B&B is the perfect place for a romantic getaway, or to revive after a busy week. Guests will enjoy complimentary afternoon tea on arrival and a three course breakfast the following morning, either served alfresco or in the guest dining room. Located amongst trees and bird life, our aim is to make our guests feel spoiled.
We have lived in the Cardiff area for over twenty years where we have brought up our two boys and our two miniature fox terriers. We enjoy gardening and entertaining. After a day in the garden we love relaxing on the deck, enjoying the view. We feel so lucky to live in such a unique environment that we can't wait to share it with guests.
Valley View bed and breakfast is located on three undulating acres at Cardiff Heights, a suburb of Lake Macquarie. Our home is within a ten minute drive to three major shopping centres, which include cinemas. Short drive to Warners Bay where you will find an ice skating rink, ten-pin bowling, indoor swimming centres, cafes, restaurants, and the beautiful lake foreshore. A 5 minute drive will find you at Blackbutt Reserve, where you can experience koala encounters and further explore Australia's wildlife. Twenty minutes will take you to one of Newcastle's famous beaches. Close to Newcastle Entertainment Centre, John Hunter Hospital, Hunter Sports Centre, and a 35 minute drive to the Hunter Valley Vineyards. We are located within walking distance ( 1.5 km ) of Cardiff train station and strolling distance of two bus routes.
