Beautiful black faced swamp wallabies and kangaroos will visit you each evening. The fishing is some of the best around! This heritage listed property, established by the Danish Ellmoos family in 1880, is set on 11 acres of grounds in Jervis Bay. It was the first guest house on the South Coast between Sydney and Eden and today retains the old world atmosphere from its heyday in the 1920s.

We’re tucked away in nature inside beautiful Booderee National Park, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to everything you may need. Vincentia is just a 25-minute drive away and has Woolworths, petrol stations, chemists, and plenty of essential shops. Across the water in Sussex Inlet, you’ll find a great mix of restaurants, cafés, and relaxed coastal takeaway spots. The trip across does take around an hour by road — unless you happen to have a kayak to paddle straight across!

With full transparency, we’d like to mention a few IMPORTANT details about access and the property: - Once you enter Booderee National Park, there is approximately 20 minutes of gravel road leading to the guesthouses. It is certainly accessible for small cars, but we recommend driving slowly and keeping an eye out for potholes. Park Entry Fee: As we are located inside Booderee National Park, there is a park entry fee of which allows access to the park, beaches, and facilities. You can pay online in advance or at the gate on arrival. If you’re comfortable with these factors, we’d love to host you.
