Set on 35 acres with views of the spectacular escarpment, this picturesque property is close to the valley's best wedding venues and only 5 minutes drive to the village. Wild Rose Cottage has a chain of ponds on the property attracts the beautiful, local wildlife. Strictly no parties at this property - please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken. Where will I be? Wild Rose Cottage is located at the Barrengarry end of Kangaroo Valley. It is just a 5 minutes drive to the village (over the Hampden Bridge) to the local shops, restaurants and pub. Many Southern Highlands wedding venues and towns are a short drive away. Why choose Wild Rose Cottage? Wild Rose Cottage is comfortable and perfectly sized for a group of four. The amazing views immediately put you at ease. You will have everything you need if you choose to stay at the cottage, but it is only a short drive to the village if you would like to venture out! How is the property laid out? Wild Rose Cottage is a renovated cottage all on one level. There is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven and coffee machine. The master bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite with a shower and toilet. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and the main bathroom has a toilet and shower over a bath.

Surrounded by beautiful escarpments, Kangaroo Valley is a historic town just two hours from Sydney. Stroll down the main street to discover cafes, shops, historic buildings and the famous Pioneer Village Museum. The Hampden Bridge, with its impressive Victorian sandstone towers, is Australia's last surviving wooden suspension bridge. Bush walks, unique rainforests and winding creeks will keep nature lovers satisfied, while adventurers can abseil the spectacular gorges or paddle along the picturesque Kangaroo River. The Southern Highlands and its wineries are a short drive away, as is the Shoalhaven with its pristine beaches. There really is something for everyone in Kangaroo Valley!
