The property is located close to many activities such as the Strbački buk waterfalls, rafting, and historical landmarks. The area is not only great for its natural beauty, adventurous activities, but also rich in history. Located in the Bosanska Krajina region, where the Ottomans westward expansion came to the Una and Vrbas rivers, it became to be known as the Bosnian Frontier (Bosanska Krajina) and today is full of rich Islamic, Catholic, and Orthodox history and culture. The region is known for its ancient settlement and artifacts of the Iapydes (or Japodes) an ancient people who lived off the Adriatic coast and eastwards of the Istrian peninsula. They occupied the interior of the country between the Kupa and Una rivers, and the Velebit mountain range of the Dinaric Alps. Today you can enjoy the nearby Japod Island (Japodski otoci) the green heart of the Una by boat from the property.
