This is a barn house from the 1900s, complete remodeled to a holiday house with all the amenities one could need during a stay in this lovely area. A huge kitchen with a nice place to sit and enjoy the prepping and cooking on the others side of the cooking island, this corner also serves as a breakfast nook with 4 bar stools. The large table seats 10 people easily. The living room is separate and has comfy chairs and couch. Also a wood stove, and flatscreen tv with Wii. The utility room contains a washer, dryer and a toilet, as well as a changing table for the little ones. Upstairs, bedroom one and two are large, with good closet space, flatscreen tv and a large, king size beds. The third room has two bunk beds and are ideal for kids of a family (or two). The first bathroom has a walk-in shower, bathtub and a 6-person traditional sauna. The second, smaller bathroom has a shower and a toilet. In the garage we have build an indoor play area. There is a trampoline, swing, bicycle tracktor for little children, go-carts. In spring 2019 we builded on a indoor heated swimmingpool.

My name is Anita, and I will be your host. We live in Belgium since 2011 and we feel very at home here. Before we moved to this place, we lived in Holland (our nationality) France and the USA Texas. End of 2016 we bought the old barn house next-door and remodeled it to a holiday house. We build up the house with a lot of compassion, to make you feel at home and your stay as lovely as it can be. The neighborhood is child friendly with places to play inside and outside. At the house you will find in- and outside toys for the children to play with. The view is typical for the Ardennes of Belgium, with beautiful landscaping. You can walk, bicycle or ride with your horse straight into the woods or start a walking- or bicycle route. We also have special designed routes for children. This area has a lot of historic villages to visit, like Monschau-Prum-Kronenberg-Luik-Koln. Don't forget about the ruins! There are many good restaurants to try. Special about this area is that in winter we often have enough snow to ski or to do other snow sports. Close the this holiday house you will find ski areas or routes to langlauf or walk in the snow. All this information and more, you will find in the house or just ask.
