Spacious loft recently renovated, on the outskirts of Brussels and a stone's throw from the Sonian Forest. The loft is very spacious and airy, about 70 sqm and overlooking a private garden, so very quiet. It consists of a large living room, dining room and kitchen, with bathroom and a mezzanine with bedroom and fitted wardrobes. Fully equipped kitchen: oven - 4 electric hobs - sink - fridge and freezer - hood. The loft has a private entrance and parking space. Our garden underneath (about 500 square meters), with its fruit trees and its pond, is available to guests.

We are a young mixed couple (myself from Mozambique and Francesca from Italy), and we have two children (one of four years old and the other of one and a half). Both Francesca and I love to travel, meet new people and discover the world also through the people we meet and host in our home. We also love cooking and its diversity, good music and green spaces. We are more than happy to welcome you in our nest :-)

Hoeilaart is easily accessible on foot to supermarkets, apothecaries, shops and other services. In about 15 minutes walk you can reach the pedestrian and bicycle paths of the majestic Sonian forest, the green lung of Brussels where you can walk, cycle, ride a horse and admire the beauty of Belgian nature. The Sonian Forest or Sonian Wood is a 4,421-hectare forest at the southeast edge of Brussels, Belgium. The forest lies in the Flemish municipalities of Sint-Genesius-Rode, Hoeilaart, Overijse, and Tervuren, in the Brussels-Capital Region municipalities of Uccle, Watermael-Boitsfort, Auderghem, and Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, and in the Walloon towns of La Hulpe and Waterloo. Thus, it stretches out over the three Belgian Regions. As of 2017, the Sonian Forest has been inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the only Belgian component to the multinational inscription 'Primeval Beech Forests'. The apartment is also a perfect location due to its easy access to the train station of Hoeilaart (15 minutes by foot) and connection to the centre of Brussels (reachable in 20 minutes train) and to Zaventem airport by direct bus. By car, it is only 15 minutes from Brussels or Zaventem.
