Make the most of it and prioritise cycling over driving! The entire upper part of Ixelles will give priority to pedestrians and cyclists, making it a fantastic place to explore on foot or by bike. Right in the heart of the city, Ixelles is the perfect hub, with seamless connections to all the capital's municipalities via public transport. And the best thing? It's just a 45-minute journey from the airport! A mere ten minutes from Le Chic 102 by tram takes you to the vibrant Place Flagey and the trendy shops of Châtelain. Ixelles is the place to be if you want to experience the authentic Brussels atmosphere. Brussels is home to some truly remarkable town halls, and the one of Ixelles is definitely one of the best! You simply have to visit the Horta House on Rue Américaine and then take a detour to the stunning Église de la Trinité. Afterwards, make sure you head to the former radio house on Place Flagey to take in the rich and meticulous architecture of this neighbourhood, where examples of Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and industrial architecture abound.
