Travel back to ancient times by visiting Sexaginta Prista open-air museum, a Roman military fortress on the banks of the Danube river dating back to 1 Century AD.
The surrounding areas are perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy nature and the countryside. Within a 40KM radius you can visit the famous rock churches, Orlova Chuka cave, Cherven heritage site, Mechka Winery and Rusenski Lom nature park.
