An artistic and cosy mountain chalet for fun, winter and summer sports and relaxation, Villa Aquila features en suite bedrooms, comfortable living room spaces and well equipped kitchens. The large deck offers a barbecue and overlooks Rila mountains and Yastrebets ski slope and the garden has a beautiful fire pit area. It is situated in the Rila national park, only 7 km from Borovets ski resort, 15 min drive to the largest lake in Bulgaria - Iskar lake and 50 minutes to the capital Sofia.
We are Lubov and Ross and we would love to welcome you in our holiday home! I (Lubov) am an artist/art historian and a former flight attendant and my husband Ross is an ecologist and a professional wild life photographer. Villa Aquila is the result of my passion for art and interior design and traveling, his passion for nature and wild life and our mutual love for the mountain and skiing! Enjoy your stay! Available for any queries 24/7.
The village has a cosy restaurant with delicious home made like meals and two supermarkets. The beautiful Beli Iskar eco tracks are located at a walking distance or a short drive and there is a trekking/hiking trail just behind the house. A river runs below the garden. You can get around the village by walk, car or bicycle.
