CASA LUMEN is a cozy and contemporary homely hostel, located in a residential area of the Núcleo Bandeirante neighborhood, with convenient access to public transportation and Brasília International Airport. Our space is ideal for business travelers, layovers, and those seeking a tranquil and high-quality environment. Setting ourselves apart from other hostels, we stand out for offering a discreet, welcoming atmosphere conducive to meditation, in contrast to the hustle and bustle of bars and parties, while also being completely gay-friendly.
As a host for 8 years, I conceived the Casa Luz project 5 years ago. I left my career as an artist and art educator to dedicate myself exclusively to hospitality, providing personalized housekeeping service. My discretion and tranquility provide comfort to my guests, while I am always available for pleasant conversations about art, politics, and household tips, although I speak only what is necessary to ensure a comfortable stay.
In the Núcleo Bandeirante neighborhood, visitors will find a romantic and bucolic atmosphere, ideal for relaxing walks on the bike path and evening strolls. With a convenient location just 5.5km from Brasília International Airport and 20 minutes from downtown, the neighborhood offers proximity and accessibility to travelers looking to avoid long commutes. Additionally, guests have easy access to various local shops, allowing them to explore the neighborhood on foot and enjoy the serenity of Núcleo Bandeirante while remaining connected to the vibrant urban life of the capital.
