Nature's Delight Lodge (NDL), Restaurant and Bar, is a located on Colonel Hill, at the center of Crooked Island at 22°44’50” N, 74°11’05” W, only three minutes from the airport (MYCI / CRI). This location makes NDL ideal for housing Anglers as well as other Visitors to our Island. Anglers whose mission is to fish the Flats, do deep dropping or trolling, will find it convenient for NDL to make all prearrangments. For guests whose visit is all about exploring the Island; the location of NDL is again similarly ideal for local Tours, inter Island adventures, boating excursion, or just relaxing on the beach enjoying the pure Atlantic breeze in an undisturbed surrounding. All guests arriving by private airplanes, our national flag carrier Bahamasair, or by charter, will be greated on arrival by aNDL rep. With a relatively modern communication infrastructure our guests wil be able to maintain outside contact via Free WiFi.. watch the news or TV (streaming chs etc). The Restaurant and bar is only a few steps from the studio rooms and other living facilities. We awaits your booking and subsequent arrival.

Both Barbara (a retired career Banker) along with her husband David (a former naval Petty Officer and an Air Traffic Communications Navigational and Surveillance systems technician), enjoyed many opportunities to travel and live in various countries on work-related assignments. These opportunities to interact with so many diverse people and cultures are primarily the driving force behind our desire to venture into the Bahamas Tourist market, in this near pollution free, laid back, natural environment on Crooked Island, where we hope to continue interacting with all visitors to these shores. Our goals are to assist all visitors to this Island! (with special emphasis on those directly in our care at NDL, in meeting expectations during the short time on Crooked Island), and to work in the various communities to assist with improving the local Touristic product and its marketing. Our Desire is to provide a service that would have all visitors leaving knowing more about life on this Island and feeling like family to its people. The setting at NDL will remain very practical, very casual, very open, and very friendly. All fishing tours etc can be pre arranged.. our welcome awaits you

Crooked Island is one of those Southeasterly Islands in our chain that remains somewhat undisturbed by its sparse population over the years; however, the Data, Telecommunication, and other basic infrastructures are relatively up to date, and the same can be said for property. This laid-back, quiet and uncluttered environment, that helps to promote a very hardworking, caring and friendly people, adequately compensates for any associated inconvenience with life on such Island. NDL is a rental property on a beach, where the small population provides an advantage of the beach and its adjacent waters primarily being there for our guests. Anglers should note that wading is allowed, so after returning from a day on the Flats, some time may be spent on-site casting; as various marine species usually pass by during falling and flowing tides. For those who may just want to relax in the pure Atlantic breeze; this option is also an excellent one. Guests who are exploring the Island, land tours to relics of cotton plantation, various caves and other sites of interest and inter island visits can be arranged.The people are helpful and friendly; the language spoken is English.
