The Capital is managed by Letts and Joyce. Letts stayed in the UK for many years and studied at The University of Reading and worked briefly in the planning department of the Reading Borough Council before returning back home. He has travelled extensively across Europe, Asia, USA and Africa. He is involved in a number of tourism ventures, placing a lot of emphasis on sustainable tourism. As a Town Planner and tourism entrepreneur he takes a keen interest in land use matters relating to the ever increasing conflict between human settlements and wildlife. He sees the long-term solution to this conflict as the only way for continued tourism prosperity in Botswana.

The Capital is a quite elegantly decorated upmarket guesthouse, centrally located in Gaborone. We are about 5 to 10 minutes drive from most of the city's conference centers ( The GICC- Gaborone International Convention Centre; the AVANI Hotel Conference, SADC Headquarters & Conference; Tlotlo Centre, Masa Square Centre, Fairgrounds and a walking distance to the Travel Lodge Conference). Guests can book dinner from our onsite chef or choose to eat at the many restaurants located a short drive from the guesthouse. Many of our guests have complimented us for how clean our rooms and general facilities are, as well as for the excellent service provided by our staff.

The Capital is located in an residential neighborhood in Gaborone a short distance from the City Centre. Gaborone is the Capital City of Botswana and house the National Assembly and the house of traditional leaders ( Ntlo ya Dikgosi). There are a number of tourist activities that one can do while visiting Gaborone, these include, The National Museum, Botanical Gardens, City Tours including the ever popular No.1 Ladies Detective City tour , Cultural tours to nearby villages - this gives the guests insight into the Setswana way of leaving ( Bahurutshe Cultural Village is an excellent example of this) as well as enable them to see the dramatic transformation some of these villages have undergone in the last few decades. The larger villages have their own museums that takes a guest through their tribal history. Other activities include Horse riding, Scenic tours, as well as a day or two safari tour to local and South African game reserves ( mainly Madikwe and Pilanesburg).
