I am Damian, the owner of Coconut Row and the manager of Buttonwood Guest House. I live at Coconut Row, which is three blocks away (a three minute walk), and although we have full-time staff at Buttonwood during the day, I'm available 24 hours if you ever need any help! I live here with my wife and children (all of whom were born here) and it's a fabulous place to raise a family! Please stop in anytime and say hello!
Hopkins is pretty unique in Belize in that it's not a "tourist trap" like some of the busier destinations (San Pedro and Placencia come to mind), but it's a very authentic, friendly village with lots to see and do. Draw a ten mile circle around Hopkins and you've got the Barrier Reef, Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve, Mayflower National Park, the gorgeous Sittee River, and endless things to do. Hopkins is one of the absolute best places that you can visit on your Belize Vacation!
