I moved to Canmore in 2015 and bought a 3 bedroom 2 full bath hotel condo which I self managed for 4 years when I started hosting in 2014 on another platform. It was a great experience to meet most of the guests and to show them the highlights of Canmore and the provincial and national parks surrounding it. People love Canmore for its stunning natural beauty of the majestic Canadian Rockies and breathtaking scenery that it is surrounded by including iconic peaks like the Three Sisters and Mount Rundle, offering spectacular views from almost everywhere in town. The turquoise waters of the Bow River and pristine local lakes as Grassi Lakes which add to the picturesque landscape. Canmore is conveniently located just an hour's drive from Calgary, and has quick access to Banff National Park with the Gates just 1.5 km from the property, Kananaskis Provincial Park, and Lake Louise. It is a year-round outdoor hub for enthusiasts which means endless exploration opportunities and its combined with a relaxed small-town atmosphere and vibrant local culture which provides a unique balance of wilderness and urban amenities. Activities include world-class hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, cross-country skiing at the Canmore Nordic Centre, and water sports like canoeing and paddleboarding.
