The oceanfront location, private, quiet, little heritage cabin was cool to check out, such a rich marriage of old and new interior, superior patio, great sauna, lots of little details that make this place really special.

Wake to the sunrise peaking over Meares Island, soak in the hot tub, heat up in the cedar barrel sauna, lounge on the Adirondack chairs, check out the vintage decor and explore your own private beach.

Neighbourhood information

First Light is situated just on the outskirts of downtown Tofino, before the Crab Dock. This is perfect for car free exploring down town; in the summer months it is often hard to find parking and as of 2023, it is pay parking, so we very much recommend taking advantage of using the MUP (multi use path) and walking, biking, e-bike or grabbing the Free Shuttle that runs in the Summer months to the beaches. From the house: To downtown: A block / 1 min drive / 5 min walk To Chesterman Beach: 3.5km / 5 min drive / 40 min walk Pacific Rim National Park: 16km / 20 min drive / 1 hour bike
